The New Phase Begins

Summer vacation before starting college is here. It's been very eventful. I'm still very unemployed. I saw a hiring sign at a certain movie theatre and applied there today. Maybe something will come of that. I hope something does since the factories in Shelbyville don't seem too interested in hiring.

Anyway, here's some pictures of the last few days.

The living room/kitchen of my parents' new house, now furnished. Hopefully they'll be living in it within the next week or so.

Myself, Adam, Ryan, Stephen, and his brother Matt all went to see Star Wars Episode III Tuesday morning.
The second picture is the result of Ryan trying to smuggle outside beverages into the movie theatre.

Stop Eating Animals

When we got back to Adam's, his dad had dropped the engines out of both of his VW Beetles. I thought it was kinda cool so I snapped a picture (obviously).

How we entertained ourselves until we got a system link cable to play Halo. Well, everyone except me since I don't play poker.

That was fun. I think I'll go outside and do something to occupy myself such as wash the car.

So ends a phase of my life

Tomorrow is the last day of 'official' school for me. After that, it's finals. I'm pretty sure I'll only have to take the Government final. Then I'm done with high school.

I don't know what to think of that just yet.

New friend

I made a new friend today. Haven't named him yet.

Do you like American music?

As I wrap up writing the feature entitled "Future Me" I seriously hope that I am half as good as I say I will be in the future.

Right now I can't overemphasize how absolutely awesome jazz music is. I don't know why I never noticed before.

The bubbling of yeast is no exception.

It seems that since the last posting I have developed a cold or something. It's pretty much over by now.

I have also re-developed an interest in Starcraft. That's a real shame because I can not fall behind with the autobiography, research project, and anatomy packet. I'm not normally interested in video games so this is really unfortunate that I have the urge to play Starcraft at this time.

I probably had about the most fun I've had in ten years or so dueling Eddie with foam swords. I need to get some foam swords of my own...

Man that would be so cool.

OK I'm basically just stalling now because I don't want to write about the future me. I really don't like writing about my future because I don't know a single thing about it. So I guess I'll make stuff up.

Digging My Potato

My hair got cut. It's strange how such an unimaginable act has become such a routine for me.

Then I went over to Eddie's with the guitar to do some musical exploration. I've pretty much decided now that I need a bass guitar.

And he showed me this completely awesome band called Seatbelts.

Definitely worth checking out.

I can't think of a title

The AP English test was today. I could have lived without it.
I thought I'd feel better about the essay portion, but I actually feel like I did better with the multiple choice. Then again, my experience with AP multiple choice tests tells me that what I think is right and what they think is right are two different things.

I can't motivate myself to work on this Impressionism research project. I think I'll wait until last minute panic sets in.
